Sheet Metal & Fabrication

Desert heat, airborne sand and salt-laden coastal air put outdoor enclosures and industrial structures under constant stress. PartsMake manufactures heavy-duty sheet metal assemblies, sealed cabinets and welded skid structures engineered for demanding operating conditions across the Middle East and GCC.

From oversized laser-cut plate to precision bends and inspected weldments, we bring fabrication and finishing together to support power distribution, water treatment and heavy equipment projects.

Designed around the exposure

Built for heat, dust and coastal corrosion

01

Desert heat and wind-blown sand

Outdoor electrical cabinets and equipment housings need robust seams, carefully planned access points and practical sealing details to help limit dust ingress. We fabricate enclosure structures with gasket-ready interfaces, overlapping joints and serviceable door layouts tailored to the application.

02

Humid, salt-laden coastal air

Nearshore water and high salinity can accelerate corrosion on exposed steelwork. We match substrate preparation and protective coating systems to the service environment, part geometry and project specification, with finish verification planned into the quality workflow.

Integrated production capability

From heavy plate to finished welded assembly

PartsMake combines high-capacity cutting, forming and welding for enclosures, frames and process skids. Share a drawing or assembly specification and we can review manufacturability, fabrication sequence and inspection needs before production.

01 / Cut

Oversized fibre laser cutting

15 kW and 30 kW fibre laser systems process sheet and plate on beds up to 6,000 × 2,500 mm. Typical material ranges include carbon steel from 0.5–35 mm, stainless steel from 0.5–30 mm and aluminium from 0.5–25 mm.

Suitable for heavy flanges, structural brackets, perforated screens and formed enclosure blanks.

02 / Form

Large-format press brake bending

320-ton to 600-ton multi-axis press brakes support bending lengths up to 6,000 mm, with material thicknesses from 0.8–16 mm. Compensation and laser angle measurement support repeatable bends across long panels and heavy channels.

Typical work includes cabinet walls, chassis channels, equipment covers and cable-tray structures.

03 / Weld

Heavy structural and skid welding

Robotic TIG/MIG and submerged arc welding support fabrications up to 10 metric tons, from sheet assemblies to heavy plate structures. Welding procedures and inspection requirements can be aligned with project specifications, including ASME Section IX and AWS D1.1 / D1.6 where applicable.

ISO 5817 Level B weld quality compliance is available for applicable work scopes.

Assemblies for regional infrastructure

Fabrication shaped around the job site

We support contractors and equipment builders with custom sheet metal and welded structures, from one-off engineered assemblies to repeat production runs.

Outdoor power distribution

Cabinets and enclosure structures for GCC grid and utility environments, designed with practical sealing, access and coating considerations.

Water treatment and desalination

Skid bases, equipment supports, filter housings and fabricated components for SWRO and industrial water packages.

Heavy equipment and machinery

Welded frames, mounting structures and robust chassis assemblies for demanding industrial and off-highway service.

Process skids and packaged systems

Custom skid bases and integrated structural weldments produced to drawing, interface and handling requirements.

Quality built into the fabrication plan

Verify the weld, control the finish

Inspection and finishing are planned to suit the drawing, service conditions and end-user requirements—not left until the assembly is ready to ship.

Weld inspection and non-destructive testing

Welds are checked against the agreed acceptance criteria, with visual inspection and specified NDT methods such as dye penetrant, magnetic particle or ultrasonic testing arranged for the work scope. Inspection records can be included in the project documentation package.

Stress management and dimensional control

For assemblies where welding heat or material thickness warrants it, stress-relief treatment can be specified as part of the production route. Fabrication sequencing and dimensional checks help manage distortion and confirm critical interfaces after welding and treatment.

Outdoor corrosion protection

Surface preparation and coating systems are selected to match the specified exposure, substrate and project requirements. Available corrosion verification includes ASTM B117 salt-spray testing up to 2,000 hours for applicable finishes; coating checks can be documented to the agreed inspection plan.
