Structural Airframe Brackets for UAV Inspection Platforms
Lightweight, high-stiffness machined brackets for industrial drones supporting oil and gas pipeline inspection, border security and defence patrols across the Middle East.
Five-axis machining in 7075-T651 aluminium and aerospace titanium creates integrated, thin-wall structures designed to maintain dimensional stability under sustained vibration, sand abrasion and temperature swings above 50 °C.

Integrated airframe components
Wing pylons and fuselage connection parts machined from solid billets, combining low mass with high load-bearing stiffness.
Process capability
Thin-wall milling, built around dimensional control
Five-axis simultaneous milling removes material from solid billets to form integrated pockets and ribs. Wall sections can reach 0.8 mm when toolpaths, fixture pressure and stress-relief sequences are carefully controlled to minimise distortion.
7075-T651 aluminium and Ti-6Al-4V titanium are selected for structural applications requiring high strength-to-weight performance. Both alloys retain yield strength above 450 MPa after final heat treatment.
Designed for demanding operating conditions
Machined skeletons for UAVs exposed to sustained vibration, abrasive sand and high ambient temperatures in GCC patrol and inspection environments.

Operator outcomes
Less mass. Fewer parts. Reliable load performance.
A consolidated bracket design can reduce component count while supporting the structural needs of inspection and security UAV platforms.
35–42%
Lower component mass
7075-T651 brackets reduce mass compared with equivalent welded assemblies while passing 3.5 g static load tests.
18–25 h
Assembly time saved
Integrated hollow sections eliminate separate riveted ribs, reducing production-line assembly time per airframe.
Coastal-ready
Titanium corrosion resistance
Ti-6Al-4V versions provide corrosion resistance in coastal salt environments without additional coatings.
Project fit
Repeatable small batches for evolving UAV platforms
Eastern Province and Abu Dhabi contractors developing 25–120 kg MTOW inspection drones often need small production batches as bracket geometries are updated. Thin-wall titanium also calls for suitable spindle power and rigid workholding.
Parts can ship DDP to Dammam or Musaffah with full traceability packs accepted by Aramco and ADNOC inspection teams.
