Wellhead & Downhole Components
Precision CNC manufacturing for GCC energy projects
The reliability of downhole instrumentation and wellhead equipment is critical to the viability of an energy asset. PartsMake manufactures mission-critical components from high-strength alloys, with the geometric precision required for Saudi and UAE oilfield operations.
From impact-resistant connector threads to stress-controlled blowout preventer parts, our machining approach is built for HPHT conditions, sour-gas service and demanding field loads.
Manufactured for demanding wellhead, MWD and LWD service conditions.
Built around the operating conditions
Precision machining for extreme downhole environments
GCC drilling environments can combine high pressure, high temperature and H2S exposure. These conditions place components at risk of fatigue and stress-corrosion cracking. Multi-axis CNC processes help produce parts designed to maintain structural integrity under demanding loads.
Common failure points, addressed
-
Residual stress and deformation
Proprietary tool paths help minimise residual stress when machining thin-walled housings and complex downhole mandrels.
-
Seal integrity at pressure
API and premium-equivalent threads are machined for precise pitch and reliable gas-tight sealing in high-pressure assemblies.
-
Vibration-driven fatigue
Accurate balance and surface finish for MWD/LWD components help reduce fatigue risk during high-RPM drilling.
Control the cut for the load case
Machining plans account for the loads components will see in service—not only the finished dimensions.
-
Connector threads
Thread turning for high-pressure impact connections, with pitch accuracy suited to reliable sealing.
-
BOP pressure parts
Stress-conscious turning and milling of internal blowout preventer pressure components.
-
Fatigue resistance
Tool paths optimised for high torque and severe vibration to support fatigue resistance in demanding duty.
Materials for sour-gas and deep-well service
We machine high-strength, corrosion-resistant and refractory alloys specified for downhole and wellhead applications, including AISI 4140/4340, 17-4PH, Inconel 718, Monel K500, Stellite, Super Duplex 2507 and Inconel 625 clad steel.
Incoming stock undergoes Positive Material Identification (PMI) to verify elemental composition against the specified material requirements for sour-service environments.
Inspection evidence ready for review
Components can be supplied with a data book that includes EN 10204 3.1 material certifications and CMM inspection logs to support Saudi Aramco and ADNOC vendor requirements.
In-house NDT capabilities include hydrostatic testing up to 20,000 PSI (1,380 bar), so performance can be verified before dispatch.

Operational readiness
Reduce avoidable delays from sourcing to field deployment
Overseas sourcing can involve 24–40 week lead times, leaving critical assets idle. PartsMake provides local, rapid-turnaround machining and documentation to support deployment planning across the region.
Documented inspection and testing
- Material traceability: PMI checks on incoming stock and EN 10204 3.1 material certification.
- Dimensional evidence: CMM inspection logs included in the component data book.
- Pressure verification: Hydrostatic testing available up to 20,000 PSI (1,380 bar).
Legacy component replacement
When OEM support for a legacy wellhead system is unavailable, reverse engineering can help keep existing infrastructure in service. 3D scanning and CMM verification are used to reconstruct engineering drawings for obsolete parts, avoiding the need for costly system-wide upgrades.
GCC logistics and customs coordination
Our logistics team coordinates with SABER/SASO notified bodies and manages DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipments for delivery to Dammam, Jubail, Musaffah and other major regional industrial hubs.
