Seawater Intake Strainers & Manifolds

PartsMake engineers and fabricates precision intake strainers, high-pressure distribution manifolds and specialised self-cleaning filter components for demanding industrial water systems.

Built for the high salinity, elevated water temperatures and marine bio-fouling of the Arabian Gulf and Red Sea, our assemblies help resist pitting, crevice corrosion and fatigue cracking.

Precision-fabricated seawater intake strainer for industrial water systems

Made for demanding seawater service

From extra-thick-wall headers and drawn branch connections to filter cartridges and formed sheet-metal parts, each component is engineered for its operating conditions.

0.5 mm

Laser-cut aperture diameters for controlled debris filtration.

±0.005 mm

Machining tolerances for critical interfaces and seal areas.

EN 10204 3.1

Material certification available for traceable supply.

Engineering priorities

Precision where seawater systems need it most

A failure at the intake can disrupt desalination trains and industrial cooling circuits. We focus on material integrity, stable flow and robust fabrication to help reduce avoidable downtime.

Discuss your operating conditions
01 · Corrosion resistance

Choose materials for chloride exposure

We machine and weld 316L and Super Duplex 2507, with attention to material integrity and welding practice to help mitigate premature pitting in high-chloride service.

02 · Flow behaviour

Keep filtration consistent

CNC-controlled geometry supports even aperture distribution to help limit localised cavitation and excessive pressure drop that can affect pump seals.

03 · Structural continuity

Build assemblies for pressure and vibration

Controlled, deep-penetration welding and post-weld heat treatment are applied where specified, helping manifolds withstand pressure surges and demanding operating conditions.

Manufacturing capability

Technical specifications at a glance

Finished components are produced to the dimensional and material requirements defined for your project and regional EPC or operator inspection.

Capability Specification Operational benefit
High-density laser perforation Hole diameters down to 0.5 mm Debris filtration while preserving structural rigidity and flow rate.
Super Duplex machining Tolerances to ±0.005 mm Accurate fitment for high-pressure flanges and dynamic seals.
Large-scale manifold welding ASME Sec IX / AWS D1.6 Weld integrity and structural safety under pressure spikes.
Surface finishing Ra < 0.8 µm / passivation A smoother, passivated surface to help limit salt deposits and bio-fouling.
Material traceability EN 10204 3.1 certification Documentation to support site QA/QC and operator vendor requirements.

Specialised fabrication

From filter media to manifold connections

Explore the manufacturing approach relevant to your assembly.

01 / Clean, consistent apertures

Laser-cut filtration media

Fibre laser cutting produces clean apertures in strainer screens and specialised self-cleaning filter cartridges, avoiding the burrs that can accelerate corrosion. Consistent openings help maintain flow velocity across the filtration surface and can reduce back-flushing and mechanical-cleaning frequency.

Quality & GCC delivery

Documentation and delivery planned for the jobsite

We recognise that components need to satisfy inspection requirements and arrive ready for the project schedule. Quality records and regional documentation are prepared to support your review.

Inspection data books

Shipments can include CMM inspection logs, PMI reports and certified NDT results, including PT/UT, as required.

Regional compliance support

SABER and SASO/MoIAT documentation support helps address customs and compliance requirements.

Direct delivery across key industrial hubs

Dispatch options include industrial sites in Dammam, Jubail, Musaffah and JAFZA, helping shorten the logistics chain for project deliveries and urgent replacements.

Request a technical quotation

Share your drawings and operating requirements

For an accurate quotation, provide mechanical drawings in STEP, DXF or PDF, along with material specifications and required quantity. Our engineering team reviews submissions for potential design-for-manufacture improvements before production.

For urgent replacement parts or critical maintenance shutdowns, include “Urgent Request” in your email subject line to help prioritise the engineering review.
