MIL-A-8625 Type III · GCC-ready surface protection
Hard anodizing for aluminium parts in extreme GCC conditions
Protect precision components from airborne sand, salt-laden air and demanding outdoor service with a dense Type III oxide layer and specialist PTFE permeation sealing.
- 50–75 µm Controlled film thickness
- 450+ HV Vickers surface hardness
- 2,000+ h Salt-spray test performance
Built for exposed equipment
A tailored finish for UAV structural housings, outdoor electronics covers, flow-control components and energy-sector hardware across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the wider GCC.
The coating system
A hard oxide layer, finished for harsh exposure
Type III anodising grows a dense oxide layer through controlled electrolytic oxidation. It bonds directly to the aluminium substrate, improving wear and corrosion resistance without adding significant weight or changing bulk dimensions.
For parts facing desert abrasion and coastal humidity, a vacuum-assisted PTFE dispersion permeates the oxide pores and seals micro-channels against moisture ingress.
01 · Thickness control
Repeatable film build
We maintain 50–75 µm on parts up to 1,200 mm long. In-process voltage and bath-temperature monitoring keeps batch variation within ±3 µm to support repeatable mating surfaces on valve bodies and sensor housings.
02 · Abrasion resistance
Surface hardness above 450 HV
The finished oxide resists the abrasive action of airborne silica particles that can wear standard anodised or painted surfaces rapidly in desert environments.
03 · PTFE permeation sealing
Protection against moisture and salt exposure
Following anodising, we introduce a PTFE dispersion under vacuum. The polymer penetrates the porous oxide structure to seal micro-channels. Salt-spray results exceed 2,000 hours with no pitting on 6061-T6 and 7075-T6 test coupons.
Production capability
Capacity for precision parts and larger assemblies
Rack and barrel processing supports mixed production runs, from machined UAV frames to cold plates and large skid brackets.
2,200 mm × 850 mm
Maximum single-piece envelope: length × diameter. Thickness control is maintained on parts up to 1,200 mm long.

Aluminium alloys processed
We process 6061, 6082, 7075 and 2024 alloys used in regional aerospace and energy projects. Etching and desmut steps are adjusted by alloy to help avoid surface staining before anodising.
Specified for GCC project demands
Applications include UAV structural housings and outdoor electronics covers, valve adapters and pump impellers for flow-control contractors in Dammam and Musaffah, and aluminium distribution manifolds for JAFZA skid integrators exposed to Red Sea spray.
Data-centre teams in NEOM use protected cold plates and busbar supports for ambient temperatures up to 50 °C with sand loading.
Designed around real exposure
The hard oxide and PTFE seal address intense sand abrasion, impact from airborne particles, high-salt coastal air and humid outdoor conditions common across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar and the wider GCC.
